MarketScout

Refund Policy

Last updated August 26, 2026

MarketScout's paid subscription is billed either monthly or annually, whichever you choose at checkout - current rates are on the Pricing page. Checkout and billing are handled by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as our Merchant of Record — Paddle is the seller of record on your receipt, and refunds are processed through Paddle.

Canceling your subscription

You can cancel anytime from Settings inside the app. Canceling stops future billing immediately, but we don't provide partial refunds for the days remaining in your current billing period — your paid access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.

Free trial

Every account gets one free 7-day trial of the Paid tier - no payment details are required to start it, and none are ever collected during the trial. When the trial ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier - you are never billed or charged as a result of a trial ending. The next time you open MarketScout after your trial ends, you'll be notified and can choose to subscribe to the Paid tier (which does require entering payment details, through Paddle's checkout) or simply continue using the Free tier.

Refund requests

If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or you were charged after canceling — email contact@find-a-market.com with your account email and we'll review it. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.

Outside of billing errors, refunds for "I didn't mean to subscribe" or partial-month usage are considered case by case — we're a small operation and want to be fair, but ongoing access already used isn't automatically refundable.

Paddle's own policies

As Merchant of Record, Paddle also maintains its own buyer terms and refund handling that apply to your purchase. See Paddle's Buyer Terms.
